Anti-Collision Protection for Boom Arm (Optional)

With the installation of the anti-collision mechanism, the boom arm is safeguarded against damage in the event of a collision with a vehicle.

Safety Features

• Pressure Resistance Bounce: When moving downward, if the boom arm encounters an obstruction, it will instantly return to a vertical position to avoid hitting the vehicle or person. The sensitivity of this feature is adjustable.

• Loop Detector (Optional): If a vehicle is detected by the ground induction coil while the barrier boom is descending, the arm will revert to the vertical position until the loop input signal is cleared. The arm will then resume its descent.

• Photocell (Optional): During the downward movement of the boom, if the infrared beam between the transmitter and receiver is interrupted by a person or vehicle, the arm will immediately return to the vertical position. Once the infrared beam is restored, the arm will automatically lower.

• Opening Priority: If the arm is descending and a vehicle approaches, the arm will return to the vertical position upon receiving an open command, thereby preventing potential impact with the vehicle.

Automatic Operation

• Automatic Closing via Loop Detector (Optional): When a loop detector is installed, the barrier will automatically close after a vehicle passes, triggered by the loop input.

• Automatic Opening via Loop Detector (Optional): When the barrier boom is horizontal, it will automatically rise if the loop detector input is triggered.

Manual Operation

• Manual Control During Power Outage: In the event of a power failure, the barrier can be manually controlled using a gear mechanism. Additionally, the boom can be locked in any position between horizontal and vertical, and this lock will remain until manually released.

• Boom Position During Power Failure: If power is lost while the boom is closing, it will automatically complete the closure if the angle between the boom and the vertical plane exceeds 45 degrees. Conversely, if the power fails while the boom is opening, it will continue to fully open if the angle between the boom and the level surface exceeds 45 degrees.

Cold Climate Performance

• Anti-Condensation: The barrier operates with low power consumption even when not actively closing or opening, ensuring the motor remains at a normal temperature. This prevents the lubricant from freezing, allowing the barrier to function effectively in cold conditions.

Control Board Protection

• Transparent Plastic Cover: The Control Board is protected by a transparent plastic cover, which makes it water and dust-resistant while safeguarding the operator.
